HOW TO CONVERT MUSIC FILES TO MP3, AAC USING ITUNES

Conversion of music files to MP3 can really be a headache if you have a passion for quality converted music whether ripped or downloaded. The intresting thing is Apples iTunes can batch convert from a host of formats to the mp3 or aac formats with a simply drag of the files into iTunes after proper settings and this we shall outline below

Step 1

Download iTunes 11 Here (107mb) if you dont already have the software installed

Step 2

Open the iTunes user interface and select the door icon on the top left corner as shown in the image below

Step 3

Select preferences, this will take you to the preferences tab. Here select import settings as shown in the image below

 

Step 4

Change the encoder from the default AAC Encoder

To use the desired mp3 converter

 

Click OK and your ready to start importing your various format files and have iTunes convert them as they are displayed into the progam

Step 5

Now all you have to do is drag your music files or folders and drop in itunes and iTunes will convert them to mp3 format and place the converted files in  C:\Users\User\Music\iTunes which is a folder named iTunes in your music folder

Step 6

So sit back relax while the conversion is done and enjoy good high quality mp3 audio.
