It just happens i hear you say, "i turned on my system tried typing and found out that some alphabets were typing number and not letters". This is not a nice place to be especially if you do not know how you got here. Well you can put a smile on your face cos you're in the right place, the cause is the NUM LK key on your qwerty keyboard, usually located on the top right corner of the keyboard, when it is turned on it makes some letters turn to number keys for ease of access especially to accountants and people who work with numbers alot.

So how do i change it?

Simply press the Num Lk key once and you're good to go however, should it happen again when you restart your PC, then your BIOS has been set to automatically turn it on on system restart.

How to turn off the BIOS option

To do this you will have to enter the bios which loads immediately your system powers on. To enter the BIOS simply enter the required key during start-up and' reconfigure the NUM LK ON BOOT to off and you're free.
