MY MOUSEPAD DOES NOT MOVE

This is not a nice eperience and not something i would wish on anyone like the guy i met who had this issue. Imagine having a new laptop and then suddenly the mouse stops moving it does not even tap or click at all, you're worried because you feel you have been scammed of some hard earned cash? Well not to worry before you yell at the guy at the hardware store, online shop or the friend who introduced you to the guy that sold the laptop try this first.

Step 1

Most times the problem is you have somehow turned off the mouse, so if the system is brand new or still has a good copy of a factory installed operating system check the taskbar on the right which is the etreme bottom right hand corner of your pc screen check to see if you can find a red icon that pops a mouse description. If you do find it and it says diabled, just enable it and you're good.

Step 2

For some others step 1 does not work so we'll try the hardware option. For a few recent laptop models I've seen the manufacturer put a small dent on the top left corner of the mouse pad and if tapped twice in quick succession can turn of the mouse without the users notice and trigger the problem so if your mouse has a litttle dent on any corner, try tapping and see if your mouse begins to work.

Step 3

Now others still have it different, on some PC's a combination of the Fn key and one of F1-----F12 (anyone which has a mouse pad like icon on it) can turn on or turn off the mouse pad, so please do to check it out.
