Since the arrival of Windows 7 a few years back some things have become a lot easier to achieve on a computer (weather Laptop or Desktop computer) with a lot less stress than before screen snipping, clipping or simply taking images of your computer screen or parts of it became a lot easier. So the purpose of this tutorial is a simple step by step guide on how to use the snipping tool available in Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 to take images from any part of your computer screen weather laptop or desktop computer

STEP 1

Go to the START MENU located at the bottom left corner of your computer screen or by simply pressing the windows key on your keyboard (Laptop or Desktop computer)

STEP 2

Type SNIPPING TOOL in the search area provided at the bottom of the start menu

STEP 3

Select the SNIPPING TOOL that shows up in the search results and you're ready to take an image from anywhere on your computer's screen

STEP 4

Just click on NEW in the snipping tool menu 

STEP 5

Click and drag to cover the area or your computer screen you want an image of

STEP 6

Save in any of the available formats and you're done.
